I bought 2 bags of Santa Cruz cookies. I always enjoyed them, but this time I found hair in 3 cookies and had to throw them all away. I don't know if this is a mistake or a problem at the factory.
- Good cookies
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: please check at factory.

3 *** from this pissed off customer. Shrinkflation is alive and well at Pepperidge Farm. Less food for higher prices
Totally Disappointed
I have always been a fan of pepperidge farm products but I have no idea what you are doing with your 5 cheese Texas Toast. You had everything except for the name of the product, the dam cheese.
I bought 3 boxes. Out of the 18 pieces of toast, maybe 5 had cheese on them. How are you calling it 5 cheese when you are missing the main ingredients, " the dam cheese "? I will go back to the Walmart 3 cheese toast.
Your toast I give a 2 out of 10 and I'm being nice. A WASTE OF MONEY!!!
User's recommendation: Don't buy cheese toast from pepperidge farm
Steep fall in quality coupled with steep rise in price.
Used to be a great brand. Now, its garbage.
The quality of every ingredient is now bottom of the barrel. It was, in the past, a consistently high-quality product.
Now, its disgusting. Even more disgusting is their nerve to charge more for their swill.
User's recommendation: Don’t buy

Verified Reviewer | Tampa, FloridaExpensive cookies that are smaller portions.
The Sausalitos are much smaller; the quality of taste is not as good either. I am going to stop buying them.
They are very costly for what? The goodness of taste is gone!
User's recommendation: Pepperidge farm cookies not worth it
Chessman cookies taste like flour instead of butter, not flaky anymore!
They have downgraded their cookies. They used to be buttery, rich, and flaky/crumbly.
Now, the cookies have too much flour and have significantly reduced the amount of butter!
They should remove the word 'butter' from the front of the Chessman cookie package. The taste is gone, the quality is gone, the buttery goodness is gone!
- Brand name
- Consumer ripoff now--cookies do not taste buttery
Preferred solution: return the butter content to these cookies that they formerly had.
User's recommendation: Don't buy Chessman cookies--no buttery taste- rip off consumers!
Very dissatisfied with the Peach Turnovers
I excitedly baked the turnovers, they baked up beautifully and smelled great, but ... they were quite greasy and I was drinking milk with my turnovers so the grease was coating my mouth, yuk!
But my biggest complaint is the fact that none if the turnovers had more than 2 small pieces of peach inside. Plenty of the thickened juice, which tasted great, but I want peach slices or chunks or something, not just the juice. Horribly disappointed.
Pepperidge Farms has been a consistently excellent company with delicious foods, what's happening? Food these days is far too pricey to pay good money for a shoddy product.
Thank you for your time.
User's recommendation: Do not buy the turnovers
Over priced joke!
I asked my wife, why the pepperidge farm bread? It was on sale, there's a surprise.
I made two different sandwiches with it, and both were disappointing. It was almost like it wasn't baked long enough. It was sticky to the touch and had gummy mouth feel. Why they seem to think they need to wrap their breads in two wrappers, is beyond me.
It's an overpriced, inferior product.
I threw out half the loaf and good riddance. never again.
User's recommendation: Stay away!
UNHAPPY
I just bought Pepperidge Farm Thin & Crispy Cookies. I haven't had them in a few months...and noticed immediately how much thinner & smaller the cookies are vs last time I had them.
The cookies are SO THIN, they barely stay together!! These cookies are thin like crackers...and when you bite into one, it cracks up & crumbles into a bunch of smaller pieces, making it an unpleasant chore to consume.
Today's the LAST TIME I'll spend my money on these cookies because of how thin they now make them!!! Pepperidge Farm
Chessmen cookies seem different. Have they change the sweetner they use?
I just wonder if they have changed the sweetner in their cookies. They aren't good this week. Thanks for info.
Not good anymore
My latest loaf of sandwich white bread date code exp. 7/ 5 /2024 is so thin and full of large yeast holes I am finished with it.
All companies are making things so cheap now and increasing the price I am tired of being cheated.
Bread is so flimsy and thin it almost falls apart just getting it out of the bag. With a price close to 5 dollars,I am done!
Like some other companies I will never buy again from them!
User's recommendation: Chose another brand
Three products this week did not meet my expectations.......I am 87yr old
It is hard to say as my Mom brought us all up on Pepperidge Farm products but this week two products were sub par...first was Cinnamon swirl bread...very little taste to it... chopped and fed the birds a little each day at the feeder...waste not!
And today I went to use Sliced white sandwich bread and it felt stale...tag use by May 31 no matter opened my Short bread cookies and had three broken ones (has never happened to me!!! The bread did not have a date on package but I have been raised on it ...RIGHT I trusted the brand and now I have 3 more packages of cookies and do no know what I will find but this week when I open the bags for the usual treat with my tea!
Will my birds have another treat...let us hope not please get Quality control on this soon. A PR user all of my long life...My Mom would only eat your breads...she would be sad indeed.
Quantity on product
I know there are price increases for many of our goods and services, but Pepperidge Farms is in the greedonkulous area. Not only do they increase the price of their product, but they decrease the size as well.
I bought two different PF Rye breads from my local HEB. One was definitely smaller than the other
User's recommendation: Fine a better provider, they're out there.

Totally agree. Thin and crispy dark chocolate chip cookies are so much smaller than they used to be.
Used to be one of my favorites. Last purchase.
And the Milano are not only smaller but don't taste the same. Bye bye Pepperidge farm.
