Coconut Cake

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They switched to a cheap sponge cake and added artificial coconut flavor. The Coconut Cake for decades was moist, flaky, coconutty and delectable. Now...not so much. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...Knucklebutts!

You're ripping me off and I won't buy your very small cookies. I just opened two packs I unwittingly bought, and they are at least 25% smaller. *** you and your greedy company,.

I started eating a Chessman out of the bag without looking. I thought the first 1 was broken and when I looked for the other part and I realized they were no longer the same size. I won't be buying them again!

Tiny cookies with weird taste

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Ive been buying Milano cookies since the 90s. All flavors but the orange and double chocolate were my favorite. In an effort to get healthy I stopped buying them for a while. Being housebound, I treated myself when I went to the drugstore. I opened the bag and immediately saw they are at least 25-30% smaller. Sure the bag size is the same and there are still 15 cookies but what a rip off! And they taste different. For shame. Just bought my last bag.

I bought a Pepperidge Farm coconut cake yesterday, like I have for decades and was shocked. It was awful.

The icing used to be wonderful and rich and not too sweet. It used to be one of the best icings I ever tasted. But no more! Now it is heaped with sugar and is way over-sweet and tastes awful.

Also, the cake used to have loads of shredded coconut on top and on the sides. This time I could barely find any shredded coconut at all. Just that disgusting, over-sweet icing. I will never buy Pepperidge farm cakes again.

Do they think we're stupid? I guess cancerous capitalism rules again. They must have said, Hey if we stop loading the cake with real shredded coconut and start loading the icing with so much sugar and not much else we can make a much cheaper quality cake and so the powers that be at Pepperidge farm can make more billions of dollars. I will not buy anything Pepperidge Farm ever again.

Boycott them. Let's stop making them rich at our expense. Pathetic. They had something great and ruined it because they could care less about the customers.

A total lack of respect for people. In fact, a scorn for them.

Pepperidge Farm DOESN'T remember

I bought Pepperidge Farm Texas Toast from Walmart in Dallas, Georgia. It's not as good as it used to be. It tastes pretty awful. IMO, it tastes like Papa John's Garlic Sauce. I will never again buy Pepperidge Farm. From now on I'm buying New York.

Pepperidge Farm - Foreign goop in the bread package - Image 2
I purchased a loaf of Pepperidge Farm cinnamon swirl bread. It was a few days before I opened it-- I keep it in the fridge. There was a huge glob of goop next to the slices of bread. I call it goop because it wasn't cooked. It was just a thick sticky mess! It really grossed me out.

Beware of freshness !

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I rarely get a fresh loaf of their bread. They change the plastic tag with the "sell by date" to get rid of older bread by using a different tag with a new freshness date. The bread is not fresh when opened.
